ABOUT ME

As a Student

I'm working towards a BM in Music Performance at BYU, where I study with Dr. Claudine Bigelow. I've had some amazing performance opportunities! In 2022 alone, I was a featured concerto soloist, performed with BYU's Honors Quartet, toured internationally with BYU’s Chamber orchestra, and served as principal violist of the Philharmonic Orchestra. After BYU, I hope to continue to further by education by attending graduate school. 

As a Teacher

I'm a trained Suzuki Teacher! I currently maintain a studio with both violin and viola students. The studio features weekly lessons, monthly group lessons, and biannual recitals! I love to focus on music lessons as a bonding experience between parent and child. Proficiency in music is a wonderful thing that enriches your life, whether you enjoy it as a hobby or a career. 

Outside of music

I enjoy cooking, reading, and drawing. I grew up in Highland with three younger siblings, along with my dog Annie and countless chickens. I was recently married to my husband Simon, who studies Music Composition at BYU.
