Violin/Viola is a developed skill

Many parents ask about their student's natural ability, or whether they have the "knack" for learning an instrument. But throughout my years of teaching, I have yet to find a student who couldn't be taught! In fact, many other teachers agree. In this studio, we adopt a principle of "universal human musicality," meaning that anyone can learn a musical instrument! My goal as a teacher is to help every child individually. Music is complex, and we are building a variety of different skills.

Music Lessons are about more than just learning an instrument.

In music lessons, the primary goal is to learn and improve at violin/viola. However, there are many other things we learn as a result. Learning music teaches discipline, problem solving skills, and builds self esteem!
